Cherylyn Barnes is the latest in the comedic dynasty of famous Australian housewives that stretches back to the likes of Dame Edna. A dynasty that includes Madge Bishop (Neighbours), Gia Liano (Real Desperate Housewives of Melbourne), Jeanne Little (Australian Entertainer), Jacqui Lambie (Tasmanian Senator), Kath Day-Knight (Kath and Kim) and Noeline Donahue (Sylvania Waters).

Cherylyn Barnes is a strong independent Australian housewife from Campbeltown, Sydney. Married to Terry Barnes, cousin of Jimmy Barnes, Cherylyn has become a social media sensation/addict with her sharp tounge and strong opinion on just about anything. Cherylyn's youtube clips, twits and instagrams have become her outlet for her mad rants on life, all the haters trying to bring her down, Ariana Grande's breast implants to her falling out with her daughter Desiree. Nothing is off limits for Cherylyn and she shares all with her audience, some would say too much (but in Cherlyn's words "they're just dikwits").

Cherylyn Barnes will be making it out of Campbeltown, for a One Night Only comedy show during Mardi Gras, to unleash her filter-less commentary on family, sex, suburban life and her new enterprising lease on life. If you're lucky she may also perform her ARIA Nominated (well not yet anyway) hit singles. For one night you will be offered an insight into what it is to be a modern Australian woman.
